Christopher Heath Obituary

August 17, 1983 - December 25, 2009

Christopher Charles Heath, 26, of Madisonville, passed away on Friday, December 25, 2009, in Temple.

Services are set for 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 29, at the First Baptist Church of Madisonville with the Rev. Troy Brooks, Jerald Brown and Glenn Connors officiating. Burial will be in the Park Cemetery.

Chris was born on August 17, 1983, in Madisonville, Texas to Charles E. Jr. and Lisa Susan (Dyer) Heath. Chris grew up in Madisonville and graduated from North Zulch High School in 2001.

He enjoyed team roping and had won a saddle and was the 7F Arena High Point Winner, in September 2006. Chris also won the Team Roping Championship at the Madison County Fair in 2008.

He was employed by Spikes Trucking. He also enjoyed fishing and showing cattle and hogs. He participated in FFA and received his Lone Star Farmer Degree in July 2000.

Chris was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Jimmie & Myra Dyer.

Survivors include his parents, Chuck and Lisa Heath, of Madisonville; paternal grandparents, Charles and June Heath, of Madisonville; sisters, Lacey Moy and husband, Jordan, of Adkins and Kelsey Heath, of Madisonville; nephew, Branson Moy, of Adkins, aunts, uncles, cousins other family and numerous friends.

Pallbearers will be Eric Barker, Brandon Glass, Johnathan Gerhart, William Killough, Marcus O'Neal, Nathan Sikorski, Brandon Sikorski and Cannon Harrington.

Memorials may be made to: the Madison County Fair Association, P. O. Box 1151, Madisonville, Texas 77864

Arrangements are under the direction of Madisonville Funeral Home.

My heart and prayers go out to you at this sad time in your lifes. We lost our daughter in June of this year unexpectatly and we have struggled to keep going one moment at a time. It is a parents worst nightmare to lose one of your childern.Please seek out the people that will support you and allow you to walk and sometimes crawl through your grief.As a mother I will tell you that this will be the hardest walk in your life but you can do it one day at a time with Gods help. God bless you and keep you and your family in His peace.
