David Foster Obituary

May 14, 1942 - April 2, 2017

Loving father passed away at Haven Hospice Center. He was born May 14, 1942 to Emmitt Aurthur Foster and Creta Estelle Lynch-Foster. He graduated Denison High School 1958.

He earned a Bachelor of Science in Bio Medical Science Degree from Texas A&M University Class of 1973.

His career for the majority of his life was in construction, he was a builder and built numerous homes in Bryan and College Station, TX. His last years he worked for WW Gay. He was very good with carpentry, and also had a love of animals. His other favorite past times were hunting, fishing, car shows, gun shows, and watching his grandchildren in their different sports activities. He was a kind and gentle man. The churches he attended were Waples United Methodist in Denison, TX, and A&M United Methodist in College Station, TX.

He was preceded in death by his father, Emmitt Arthur Foster, mother, Creta Estell Lynch-Foster, sister, Sylvia Emily Foster-Hall, nephew, Mark Shannon Hall, niece, Ami Foster. He is survived by his son, David Keith Foster, and his wife Molly Eickenroht - Foster, their children, John Foster, Hannah Foster, of Orange Park, FL ; daughter, April Paige Foster-Sorrells, and her husband Steven Larry Sorrells and two children, David Sorrells, and Lauren Sorrells, of College Station TX, his brother, Glen Foster, and his wife Judy Foster, of Denison, TX and their children, Scott Foster, Cindi Foster, Ami Foster, Craig Foster, Sylvia's husband Sherman Hall, of Denison,TX, and Vanessa Smith Hall,of Euless, TX, and Gene Hall of Denison, TX.
