Deanie and Michael,
It's been a little over a week now and i'm still searching for words.
I'm so sorry for your loss and pray the God will give you the strength and courage you will need on the journey ahead.
As a young woman starting out in the electrical business, and a male dominated field for sure, it really helped tremendously to have such an amazing leader and role model who lead by example in the business.
Don was that person. He helped me to learn and grow as a sales representative and he was a pillar in the business whose leadership helped to build my career and trust with other contractors in the Hill Country because he had faith in my work and ability to manage our clients in an honest and professional manner. Because of this connection, we are able to meet and become lifelong friends with all of us working together and supporting each other in the industry and family life.
I have beautiful memories of our evening workbook sessions, motor control and switchboard estimating and the like. Don was incredibly supportive of my work in the business and taught me the distributor side of the electrical business. He helped me to learn by allowing me to do inventory, attend training sessions, supported the dinners we had, invited me to the annual fish frys to provide the opportunity to meet everyone at Dealer's and the contractors in the Hill Country. I learned more about salesmanship, estimating jobs and building trust in the field and so much more.
I am so grateful not only for Don's support and role modeling, I am honored to be a party of your family. To have worked with and become amazing friends, work at county fairs and 4-H events for Michael and so much more.
Rest in peace Don. May God's eternal light shine upon you.
Much love and prayers.

I miss my "Bubba" and will treasure the times that we had together in the recent months. They will forever be embedded in my heart. Rest in peace, my brother. Fly high with the angels.
