James Gabaldon Obituary

March 6, 1981 - December 29, 2018

No one could fill a room with joy and enthusiasm more than Michael Gabaldon, formerly of College Station. Now he's filling heaven with his special brand of charm. Michael passed away December 29, 2018 in Houston.

Born March 6, 1981 in College Station, Michael's survived by parents Coral and James Gabaldon of College Station and brother Andrew of Austin. Infant sister Lisa preceded him in death. Michael will be remembered for his passion, wit, and loyalty. He loved his Denver Broncos, Florida Gators, dogs, music, travel, and all things soccer.

A visitation will be held at Callaway-Jones Funeral Center in Bryan from 4 to 6pm Sunday, January 13, 2019. A funeral mass for Michael will begin at 11am Monday, January 14, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bryan. Services are in the care of Callaway-Jones Funeral and Cremation Centers of Bryan College Station.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made in Michael's name to Habitat for Humanity, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and the Carmelite Monastery of Santa Fe. In addition, a GoFundMe account has been set up in the name of James Michael Gabaldon with all proceeds going to these charities.
