Jerry Eden Obituary

Jerry Dean Eden, Sr., 79, of Lake Brownwood, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home on August 1, 2025. He was a former longtime resident of College Station.

He is survived by his proudest achievements: his children, Kimberly (David) Cummings, Jerry Eden Jr., and Kara (Steve) Carroll; his grandchildren, Courtney Caldwell, Christopher Cummings, Kaleb Watkins, Kate Eden, and Savannah Eden; and his great-grandchildren, Weston and Azalea Watkins. He is also survived by Marisa Hughes Burleson Edds Eden, Ashley Burleson Duncan, Logan Duncan, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and dear friends.

Before and during retirement, Jerry enjoyed many hobbies and loved spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, and cheering on his favorite football teams the Dallas Cowboys and the Fightin' Texas Aggies.

His family is comforted knowing Jerry accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and knowing he is now in Heaven, at peace and free from suffering.
