Juan Vanegas Obituary

 March 3, 1979 - November 10, 2017

Juan "Tony" Vanegas, 38, of Bryan passed away Friday, November 10, 2017. Funeral Services are set 11AM Friday, November 17 in Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Father Victor Mayorga will officiate with burial to follow in Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Thursday, November 16 with a Vigal Service at 6PM in the Chapel of Trevino-Smith Funeral Home.

Born March 3, 1979 in Mexico he was the son of Jose Refugio and Juana (Reyna) Vanegas. Tony was a soccer coach and a family man. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and a brother. Tony leaves behind to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Silvia Vanegas; a son, Emanuel Vanegas; two daughters, Sofia and Isabella Vanegas; three brothers, Ricardo and wife, Catalina Vanegas, Refugio Vanegas Jr. and wife, Rosario, and Jorge and wife, Veronica Vanegas; one sister, Alma and husband, Francisco Bravo; and numerous cousins and friends.
