Margaret Gott Obituary

October 25, 1943 – March 27, 2014

Margaret A. (Bomnskie) Gott, 70, of Bryan, passed away Thursday March 27, 2014. A time of visitation for friends and family will be from 5 until 8 p.m. Sunday, March 30, at Callaway-Jones Funeral Home in Bryan. A graveside service is set for 10 a.m. Monday, March 31, at Rest-Ever Memorial Park in Bryan, with Ray Bomnskie officiating.

Margaret was born October 25, 1943, in Bryan, Texas to John and Grace Bomnskie. She was a lifetime resident of Bryan, and will be remembered for the love she had for her family.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Howard L. Gott, Sr; her parents, John and Grace Bomnskie; brother, Johnny Bomnskie; sister, Susie Harvell; father and mother-in-law, Orville and Alice Gott.

Margaret leaves behind her children, Robin Penicka and her husband Bobby of Bryan; Howard Gott, Jr and his wife Carol of Hugo, OK, Preston Gott of Bryan and Keith Gott and his wife Myra of Wixon Valley; four grandchildren, Eric Trute and his wife Elizabeth, Anthony Gott, Wesley Blinka and Cody Blinka; three great grandchildren, Miah and Hanna Trute, and Robert Blinka. She is also survived by four sisters and one brother, Betty Zulkowski and her husband Gene of College Station, Dorothy Wolff and her husband Oscar of Bryan, Annette Harrison and her husband Roland of Bryan, Frances Scanlin of Houston, Ray Bomnskie and his wife Debbie of Bryan; one uncle, Jack Winslow, Sr of Franklin; and many nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be sent to Hospice Brazos Valley at 502 W 26th St., Bryan, Texas 77803.
