Max Armatys Obituary

Max Douglas Armatys,

Feb 13, 1956 - Nov 28, 2024

Max Douglas Armatys, who entered this world on February 13, 1956, in Navasota, Texas, departed from us on November 28, 2024, in Bryan, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Our hearts are heavy with loss, yet we find comfort in the belief that he has been embraced by his Savior and reunited with loved ones who have preceded him. We take solace in knowing that he is free from pain and suffering, experiencing complete healing in the presence of God. There will be a service at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6th, at Stoneham Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel.

From an early age, Max was captivated by the world of race cars, beginning his journey as an announcer at a local racetrack before eventually becoming the proud owner of sprint cars. He began his professional life working for his dad and later took over Armatys' Custom Homes. Max was dedicated to crafting not just houses, but homes rich with dreams and beautiful memories. He also enjoyed working in the cattle industry with his son, which was another passion that brought him joy.

A devoted father, Max took immense pride in coaching his children in their sporting ventures, instilling in them the values of teamwork, perseverance, and sportsmanship. His encouragement was always a source of strength, showing how much he cared for his family. Max's life was exemplified by his hard work, love, and dedication to his family. His legacy will continue to live on through the homes he built, the lives he touched, and the family he loved so dearly.

Max is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Max and Betty Armatys, and sister Jacqueline Kay Armatys, he is survived by his children: son Ryan Armatys, and daughters Katelyn Armatys and Ashley Armatys. His sister Jackie Watson, brother-in-law Tony Watson, and brother Jimmy Armatys, along with his nephews Steven Siracusa and Justin Armatys. He also is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Max was always super to step up and embrace any ideas I came up with to see that what God inspired came to life! He often volunteered and embraced then conquered any challenges to see the children´s ministry be successful in winning and keeping kids coming to Jesus. So thankful he brought his talents and shared them! Being just one street away from the church he often came to my immediate rescue. Couldn´t have asked for a more giving man to set an example for some boys who had no father to follow. Great Dad to his own kids and inspiration to us all. You will always hold a soft spot in my heart and bring good memories to mind whenever I reflect on our Mr. Max.
