To My Family,

We all will miss Granny. However, we all must and will go on. Keep your special memories of her and the life she lived. I leave you with this poem that I love so well.

Poem of Life

Life is but a stopping place, A pause in what's to be, A resting place along the road, to sweet eternity. We all have different journeys, Different paths along the way, We all were meant to learn some things, but never meant to stay... Our destination is a place, Far greater than we know. For some the journey's quicker, For some the journey's slow. And when the journey finally ends, We'll claim a great reward, And find an everlasting peace, Together with the lord.

May God continue to Bless and keep all of us in the days, months and years to come.

Sister Minnie was the first lady at Washington Chapel to invite me, the white lady, to her home. She spent many hours with me, playing piano and organ, going shopping, enjoying church together, and just sitting with me in her home, quietly, just enjoying each others company. She is a jewel to me; I will always thank God for her and all of the times we spent together! She amazed me at the strength that she had! She certainly had a love for the Lord that showed all around her!! She was and will always be "my special angel"!!!! I will see you one day, my sweet Minnie!! I LOVE YOU SOOO MUCH!!!
