Sister Minnie was the first lady at Washington Chapel to invite me, the white lady, to her home. She spent many hours with me, playing piano and organ, going shopping, enjoying church together, and just sitting with me in her home, quietly, just enjoying each others company. She is a jewel to me; I will always thank God for her and all of the times we spent together! She amazed me at the strength that she had!
