Paulette Marie See, 63, of Caldwell passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at her home in Caldwell. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 29 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell, with Deacon John Young officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Paulette was born April 3, 1953 in Caldwell to Frank, Jr. and Mary (Wiederhold) Matcek. After graduating from Caldwell High School, she attended and graduated from pharmacy school and became a registered pharmacist. She owned and operated a pharmacy near the Burleson County Hospital for many years. She enjoyed baking and her kolaches won several awards at the annual Kolache Festival in Caldwell. She also enjoyed gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a Catholic.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include two sons and a daughter-in-law, Nathan See and Stephen and Lauren See, all of Caldwell; a brother, Jimmy Matcek, of Caldwell; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Marian and Bernard Klawinsky, of Huntsville, Kathy and Mark Kovar and Janet and David Muzny, all of Caldwell; two grandchildren, Allison See and Gracelynn See and several nephews and nieces.
