Roxane Trimble Obituary

Roxane Risien Trimble

March 24, 1956 - November 20, 2022

A kind, thoughtful and deeply selfless wife, mother and grandmother who had a unique gift for connecting with people and turning strangers into friends, Roxane Louis Trimble passed away peacefully on November 20, 2022.

Born on March 24, 1956, in Bryan, TX, Roxane moved around a lot in her youth, going from Texas to Oklahoma to Montana to Colorado to California and then back to Texas where she spent the rest of her life. She participated in theater and the bobcat brigade at Cy-Fair High School and later attended Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches, TX.

A tall, elegant woman, Roxane's bright blue eyes and infectious smile enthralled everyone she encountered.

Naturally friendly, people were drawn to Roxane's positive and kind-hearted nature. She was genuinely interested in the ins and outs of other people's lives, and her sharp memory and keen listening skills meant she could remember uncanny events and details.

In her 45-year career as a bank branch manager Roxane worked for different organizations in Houston, Austin and Bryan including Texas Commerce, Langham Creek National Bank, South Trust, Wachovia, Wells Fargo and Chase. She took great pride in her occupation and loved reminiscing about the clients, teams and colleagues she worked with over the years.

Roxane thrived in the presence of her family; her proudest accomplishments were her marriage, children and grandchildren. She met her future husband Bill Trimble while she was a bank teller at Colonial National Bank and he was working security. After just two weeks of dating they were engaged. They married on May 13, 1978, and had a 44-year union. Their love shone for a lifetime and set an incredible example for their two children.

Those close to Roxane remember the little moments spent together: dinnertime chats about everyone's day, camping trips to the deer lease and annual family reunions. She also had a close relationship with her grandchildren and frequently took them to the park for Saturday morning doughnut picnics.

Roxane's other favorite pastimes included morning walks, tending to her garden, watching Aggie football, eating good food with friends and enjoying a glass of wine or margarita.

She is survived by her husband, Bill Trimble; her son Matthew (Lindsay) Trimble; her daughter Amanda (Bailey) Allen; her grandchildren Matalyn Trimble, Jacob Trimble, Brayden Allen, Tyler Trimble, Connor Allen, Everett Trimble and Thatcher Trimble; her brothers Cody (Amy) Risien and Flint (Beth) Risien; her sister Missy (Eric) Severin; her in-laws Ted (Melanie) Trimble, Teresa, (Tom) Neurauter, Gyinndolyn (Jerry) Curtis, Paula (Larry) Blachut and; her father-in-law W.O. Trimble and many wonderful cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother Lillian Risien; her father George Risien; her mother-in-Law Pauline Trimble; brother-in-law Joseph Trimble; her nephews Jacob Neurauter, Bryon Scott Walsh and Cody Trimble.

Roxane's remarkable heart was a gift to all those in her life, and her warm heart and caring demeanor can never be replaced.

Roxane will be laid to rest on December 3, 2022, at 3 p.m. at St. Andrews Episcopal Church in Bryan, TX.

With a celebration of life to follow immediately after at 1500 Brook Hollow Drive Bryan, TX 77802.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to the to Brazos Valley Food Bank, or the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Texas.
