Tony Hodges Obituary

Dec. 12, 1952 - May 22, 2011

Tony Hodges, 58, of North Zulch, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 22, 2011 at St. Joseph Regional Health Center.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee. The Rev. Dale Evans will be officiating the services and the burial following the ceremony, at Wealthy Cemetery. Visitation was held Tuesday, May 24, at the funeral home.

Tony Louis Hodges was born December 12, 1952 to Louis and Nelda Spikes Hodges, in Bryan. He was raised in Normangee, Texas and was a long-time resident in the Brazos Valley, working as a heavy equipment operator and a Ferrier.

Proceeded in death by both parents, Louis Hodges and Nelda Hodges Luhn; a brother, Rodger Dale Hodges; a sister, Ramona "Sissy" Hodges; and a niece, Chelsea Luhn.

He is survived by his sons, Tony Louis, Jr. and Tracey Hodges; and their mother, Cindy Hodges; two brothers, Curtis Hodges & Chris Luhn; a sister & brother-in-law, Kathy and Tommy Williams; his granddaughter, Amy Hodges; six nephews, two nieces, several great-nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, many cousins; and his very special friend, Margie Hodges.
