Vincent Marino Obituary

Vincent Marino

Dec 29, 1948 - Jun 6, 2025

Vincent Marino, 76, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, neighbor, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 6, 2025, at his home in Bryan, surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 29, 1948, in Bryan, Texas, to John E and Mary Lena Marino, Vincent lived a life marked by faith, family, and friendship.

Vincent was the oldest of two sons and a lifelong resident of Bryan, where his warm and welcoming nature ensured he never met a stranger. A devout Catholic, his faith was the cornerstone of his life. As a lifelong member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, Vincent served with dedication as an usher, spent time weekly in Eucharistic Adoration, helped prepare meals for Meals on Wheels and funeral dinners, was an active member of the Men's Club and the local Knights of Columbus Council, and was a former member of the Pastoral Council. His commitment to his church was unwavering.

A 1967 graduate of Stephen F. Austin High School in Bryan, Vincent went on to earn a degree in Finance from Texas A&M University in 1971. He proudly served in a Military Intelligence Unit of the Army Reserves, demonstrating his dedication to his country. Vincent built a successful career, working for many years at The Eagle and Nampac prior to joining Kent Moore Cabinets, where he worked for nearly seventeen years before retiring in 2013. Wherever he worked, he forged lifelong friendships.

Vincent was a devoted family man and a beloved "PawPaw" to his grandchildren. He found joy in spending time outdoors tending to his lawn and garden, and traveling across the globe to spend time with his family and to explore new places. His infectious friendliness and kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Vincent is survived by his beloved wife, Brenda; his son, Doug Marino, and wife, Rebecca; his daughter, Nicolyn, and husband, Veiverne Yuen of Singapore; his cherished grandchildren, Morgan Marino, Molly Marino, Aerin Yuen, and Isen Yuen; his brother, John Marino, and wife, Christy; his niece, Jennifer, and husband, Kyle West, and their son, Noah; and numerous other nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, John E and Mary Lena Marino.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Luminos Hospice, particularly Emily and Misty, for their compassionate care during Vincent's final days.

A visitation for Vincent will be held from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Memorial Funeral Chapel, 1515 South College Ave, Bryan, TX 77801, with a Rosary recited at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 401 S. Parker Ave, Bryan, TX 77803. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Vincent's memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of BCS or MD Anderson Cancer Center.

Vincent's legacy of faith, kindness, and love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
