Willie Randermann Obituary

September 9, 1930 - August 2, 2014

Willie John August Randermann, Jr., 83, of Bryan, peacefully passed away Saturday, August 2, 2014 at his home, surrounded by his loved ones. A time for family to receive friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Hillier Funeral Home in Bryan. Funeral services are set for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 5, at Bethel Lutheran Church, 4221 Boonville Road, Bryan, officiated by Pastor Randy Bard. Interment will follow at Rest-Ever Memorial Park.

Willie was born September 9, 1930 in Buckholts, Texas, the son of Willie and Erna (Jungmann) Randermann, Sr. He graduated from Cameron Yoe High School, where he played trombone in the Yoe High School band. His love of music continued long after his schooling, by playing the accordion for "The Combinations" dance band and performing at weddings, anniversaries and dances all over the Brazos Valley.

He was a beloved husband, father and the best Paw-Paw in the world. He was known to be among the finest brick masons in the Brazos Valley. He was also a long-time member of Bethel Lutheran Church. Willie will be remembered by those who loved him, as being a good, kind man who always kept his word and always treated everyone like he wanted to be treated. We will miss his big smile and the way he would always tap and pat his knee to the beat of country, polka and waltz music.

Willie is survived by his wife of twenty-two years, Nina "Mike" Randermann; daughters, Sue and Jim Wade and Elain and Charles Luza; granddaughters, Diane and Jonathan Wiener, Denise and Andrew Fawcett, Donna and Matthew Colley, Erin Luza, and Kacie and Michael Sterling; step-children, Ret. Col. David and Tina Baker, Dorthi and Scott Bearden, Dwight Baker, and Dab Lewis; son-in-law, Jim Allen; step-grandchildren, Russell and Miranda Kirby, Capt. Tyler Baker, Deton and Ruth Bearden, Joshua and Deb Kirby, Sara Baker, Grady Bearden, Mary Aubri Bearden, Candra Lewis, Camden Lewis, and Cheney Lewis; great-grandchildren, Destinee Drosche, Alexa Doyle, Peyton Colley, Madelyn Colley, Lauren Wiener, and Charlotte Wiener; step-great-grandchildren, Tristan Bearden, Aidan Kirby and Caulen Kirby, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of forty years, Rosemarie Randermann and stepdaughter, Diane Allen.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to all the staff at Hospice Brazos Valley for their care and compassion to Willie.
