He was a member of Mt. Airy Baptist Church in Easley. JR was a fan of NASCAR, the Carolina Gamecocks, and enjoyed camping and fishing, especially at Lake Keowee, and wrestling.

JR was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy "Bill" Orr.

He is survived by his parents, Randy Earl Orr and Wanda A. Taylor; brothers, Brandon Taylor of Williamston and Kyle Eaton of Pelzer; sister, Kristen Taylor of Williamston; special grandmother, Doris Lollis Orr; grandparents, Jerry R. and Ann Smith Gillespie; uncles, Frankie "Wally" Orr, Stanley Orr, both of Easley, and Ricky Orr of North Carolina; cousins, Ethan Orr, Kayla Maxwell, and Jessie Rollins; dogs, Puff and Sugar.

Funeral service were held Saturday, March 19, 2016, at 1 p.m. in Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, 1425 Powdersville Road, with Pastor Dave Storay officiating. Burial followed in Mt. Airy Baptist Church Cemetery.

Family received friends prior to the service at the funeral home. The family will be at the home of Doris Orr.

Donations have been requested by family directly to Mt. Airy Baptist Church Building Fund, 210 Mt. Airy Church Road, Easley, SC 29642.
