EASLEY — Mrs. Vera Maass Ohst, 95, wife of the late Kurt Arthur Walter Ohst, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 25, 2017 at her home.
Mrs. Ohst was born in Gross-Tychow, Germany, a daughter of the late Paul and Berta Richter Maass. She was a homemaker and of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are a daughter, Ingrid Ohst Gunter (Jerry) of Easley; two sisters, Maria Summerall of Hot Springs, Ariz., and Doris Endlicher of Vienna Austria; and two grandchildren, Erik Ohst Gunter (Kristen), and Kathryn Gunter, all of Greenville.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Ohst was predeceased by five brothers, Viktor, Fritz, Rudi, Siegfried and Harry Maass; and a sister, Ilse Nehls.
Memorial services will be held at a later date.
