Doug Grimm Obituary
He was born Dec. 16, 1942, in St. Marys, the son of Carl and Florence (Schnarre) Grimm.
He is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Kenny) Yuhanick of Elida; by two grandsons, Kurtis Wells of Richmond, Ind., and Joseph Yuhanick of Elida; by a step son, Robert Sprague; by two great-grandchildren, Steffanee and Maddelynn Wells.
He is also survived by his siblings, Ken Grimm of Sebring, Fla., Mary Paul of New Bremen and Jackie Badger of North Fort Myers, Fla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his siblings, Carroll Grimm, Dick Grimm and Betty Schlaudecker.
Doug was a 1960 graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School. He retired from the United States Postal Service and had been a letter carrier in St. Marys and Lima.
He was a member of the Wayne Street United Methodist Church in St. Marys, Eagles Lodge 767 and VFW Post 9289. He loved playing golf.
Funeral rites will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, St. Marys, the Rev. Dillon Staas officiant. Private family burial rites will be held.
Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where memorial gifts may be given to the Hoyt Brown Scholarship Fund, to the VFW or to the Eagles. Friends may also call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
