Mr. Weinkauf was one of the best teachers ever. He made Jr. High bearable for a lot of us. He was a great coach for intramurals and so much fun in home room. I once stabbed my hand on some freshly sharpened pencils on his desk. I think of him every day because the lead marks are still there. What a great man to make education so fun.

Condolences to the family of Gary. I knew Gary through Joe Weinkauf and Ken Berry Ball Park. Gary was a kind, wonderful person. My sister, Helen Martin, was close friends of the Weinkauf and Hill families. Gary will be greatly missed.

I was in mr.weinkauf's 5th grade class at Tecumseh North in 1984-1985. He was one of my favorite teachers ever! I remember so many things from that year, but especially making waxed greeting card candles for christmas! How brave to do that with a bunch of kids! Much love to you in your time of loss. He will never be forgotten.

Mrs. Weinkauf and family, I am so saddened to learn of Mr. Weinkauf's death. Though I never saw him again after graduating, I thought of him often and fondly as he was my 5th grade and 8th grade math teacher. He was a truly great man. Much love to you all. May he be refereeing in Heaven.

My sincerest condolences, Weinkauf family, upon the "graduation" of Gary to the heavenly mansions. He worshiped regularly at St. John's and often offered thanks and encouragement as he would leave church. He was a dear friend. Love in Christ Jesus, Pastor Ted Staudacher
