Gilbert Gauthe

Gilbert Gauthe, 93, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2012.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at Landry's Funeral Home in Napoleonville and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at St. Anne Catholic Church in Napoleonville. Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his sons, Gilbert Gauthe Jr., Richard Gauthe and wife, Pat, David Gauthe and wife, Sharon, Henry Gauthe and wife, Laurie, Danny Gauthe and Suzanne, Glenn Gauthe and wife, Myra, Sam Gauthe and wife, Liz, and Phillip Gauthe and wife, Betty; daughter, Patsy Gauthe Rousselle and husband, Roland; sister, Anna Politz; and 15 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three more expecting great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elise LeBlanc Gauthe; parents, Paul and Anna Blanchard Gauthe; brothers, Emile, Roy, Earlven, and Harold Gauthe; and sisters, Marie G. Babin, May G. Rodrigue, Grace G. Perkins and Katherine G. Poirier.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
