What a wonderful remembrance, of a wonderful man, from a wonderful family.
I can't be there in person but will be there in spirit.
The Axe reunion in 1989 will always be etched in my memory. Uncle "Dick", with all of his living sibling, except for my Grandpa "Joe". We even had Great-Great-Uncle "Red" there. Uncle "Dick" , insisted on manning the grill, and dishing out his wisdom. I heard him. I'll miss his wisdom.
Rest in peace.
Condolence to my family.

Mark,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time. I remember your dad coaching us when we were little boys at Christ The King, always being positive about our attempts to field ground balls or catch high "pop-ups", tho we missed quite a few. And I still recall his using us boys on the team to help put up political yard signs before most every election held in THE DOTTE. I think I'm a registered Democrat today in part because of him. I know your family will miss him....but I also know that he is looking down from above and is very proud of what he created to carry on his good works. RIP and Godspeed to Coach Tom.
