June 6, 1939 - October 2, 2025
Reva Ann Harry, "Nanny", age 86, of Rocky Mount, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 2, 2025. She was born June 6, 1939, daughter of the late Welzie and Nokie Harmon Wyatt. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 36 years, Herbert Eugene "Gene" Harry (passed April 11, 2024). She fought a good fight and lived a blessed life. Reva loved the LORD and was a member of Callaway Church of God. Reva loved to sing more than anything and is now a proud member of Heaven's Choir singing to her heart's content. Reva also loved going camping and taking care of her garden and plants. Surviving are her children, Barry (Christine) Jones and Laurian (Kenneth) Lucas; step-children, Anthony Harry and Thomas Harry; grandchildren, Justin Payne, Ashley Reade, Alex Jones, Kevin Jones, and Meredith Fry (Scooter Bright); great-granddaughter, Chloe Payne; adopted great-granddaughter, Nyasia Parker; great-great-grandson, Amari Dempsey; sisters-in-law, Ethel Wyatt and Betty Wyatt; nephew, T.J. Wyatt; her dear best friend of over 60 years, Annabelle Fiasco; along with many other good friends and family too many to name. Funeral services will be held at Flora Funeral Chapel, 2 p.m., Thursday, October 9, 2025, with Pastor Bill Pagen officiating. Interment will follow in Mountain View Memorial Park. Her family will receive friends beginning at 12:30 p.m. prior to the service. Arrangements by Flora Funeral Service and Cremation Center, Rocky Mount.
