Patricia Roberts Obituary
Born Sept. 21, 1953, in Franklin, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Randolph Sorrells and Maryann (Trulove) Sorrells.
Patricia worked for more than 25 years at Phillips Fibers in Seneca before continuing her career at Bosch. Patricia was known for her sass, her humor and her big heart. She loved her family above all else and treasured every moment spent with her grandchildren. She enjoyed canning, cooking, traveling and blasting gospel or Motown music while cleaning her home. Patricia's love for life, her strong faith and her devotion to her family will be remembered always.
Patricia is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years, William Kenneth Roberts Sr.; children, Brandon Rogers, William "JR" Kenneth (Katelyn) Roberts Jr. and Teila (Michael) Newton; sisters, Julie (Michael) Pfalz and Peggy (Danny) Ladd; nieces, Michelle (Chad) Vinson, Andrea Foster, Sophia Pfalz and Aubrey Pfalz; nephew, Graham (Stephanie) Sorrells; grandchildren, William "Will" Roberts, Eli Roberts, Bentley Roberts, JB Roberts, Ella Roberts, JT Oakley, Carter Allen, Otis Roberts, Amber Drake, Vicky Holinko, William Roberts and Nathan Neal; along with many great-grandchildren to share in her memories.
In addition to her parents, Patricia is predeceased by her in-laws JB and Tilda (Martin) Roberts; brother, Robert Sorrells; nephew, Christopher Sorrells; and children, Marty Roberts, Bobby Roberts and Danna Roberts.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude for the love, support and prayers shown by so many friends and loved ones during Patricia's final days.
The family received friends Friday, Oct. 3, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Cremation Society in Seneca, South Carolina. Funeral services were held at the funeral home chapel Saturday, Oct 4, at 1 p.m., followed by graveside service at Dodd Cemetery. Flowers may be delivered to the funeral home.
