Patrick Evans

OTTO - Patrick Kelly Evans, 50, born to Linda Evans and the late Kenneth Evans, passed away on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025. He left this earth peacefully to rejoin his late wife, Michele Evans.
Born in Santa Rosa County, Florida, Pat spent much of his childhood and teenage years in Milton, Florida. During his time in high school, he participated in the marching band, JROTC as well as volunteering at the Skyline Fire Department. After graduating high school, Pat served five years in the United States Marine Corps, before being honorably discharged in 2003. After that time, he spent most of his adult life retired and coaching his children in various sports. In 2014, he moved to Otto, with his late wife and son, and there is where he would live out the rest of his life.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Michele Evans, and brother, Frank Harrington.
He is survived by his mother, Linda Evans; children, Kaitlyn Evans, Delaney (David) Taylor and Conner (Carolina) Evans; brothers, Dean Evans and Dan Evans; and grandchildren, Kaleb Taylor, Kelsey Taylor and Kameron Taylor.
The family will receive friends Saturday, Nov. 1, from 10 to 11 a.m., at Macon Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m., in the chapel. Another service will be held at a later date in Florida.
The family asks that Patrick be remembered for what he did for his community during his coaching years as well as his devoted time to the military.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the DAV or VFW. Semper Fidelis Cpl. Evans, fair winds and following seas.
