Peggy Hines Obituary

FRANKLIN - Peggy Annette Hines, 59, passed away Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025.
Peggy was born in Millville, New Jersey, to the late James Leonard and Katherine Lou McMahan Sheehan. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ricky Sheehan; sister, Kathy Sheehan at birth; and brothers, Tony and Jeffrey Sheehan.
She attended Tessentee Baptist Church. She was a Pomeranian breeder and UT Vols fan. She loved going to Dollywood and having dinner with friends.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Hines; children, Matthew (Leah) Woody, Brandi (Justin) Deitz and Randy Hines II; goddaughter, Danielle (Frankie) Moose-Williams; siblings, David (Terry) Sheehan, Sherry (Darryl) Silvers both of Burnsville and Joyce (Max) Mahoney of Piedmont, South Carolina; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Thursday, Aug. 28, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Macon Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held following the visitation at Wright Cemetery. Rev. Matt Shuler will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Gideon Bibles or Plant a Tree.
