Terry Lajoie

1948 - 2025

Terry Lajoie, a beloved wife, mother, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025, at the age of 76. Born in Staten Island, New York, on October 1, 1948, Terry's family moved to St. Petersburg, Florida, when she was a child. Terry's life was marked by her dedication to helping others. After graduating from Boca Ciega High School and St. Petersburg College, she embarked on a remarkable career as a Registered Nurse, serving her community for over four decades. Her compassion and professionalism earned her the respect and affection of colleagues and patients alike. Beyond her professional life, Terry embraced her passions with enthusiasm. She was a gifted gourmet cook, delighting friends and family with her culinary creations. Sundays often found her attending a church service and cheering on her favorite football teams. She treasured her friendships, many of which spanned decades, and was known for her warm heart and infectious spirit. Terry leaves behind her loving husband of many years, John Lajoie; her daughter, Allyson Briggs; and her nieces, Samantha Manning and Cherie Fazekas. Her memory will be a blessing to all who were fortunate enough to know her. A memorial service will be held at Grace Connection Church on August 30th at 3:00 PM.
