Constance "Connie" Olson

1930 - 2024

Constance "Connie" M. Olson, age 93 , of Janesville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Cedar Crest Assisted Living Facility in Janesville. She was born in Milton, Wisconsin on December 27, 1930; the daughter of John W. and Edna (Weber) Fiedler. Connie married Truman J. Olson on June 5, 1951 in Waukegan, Illinois; and they shared 55 years of marriage before his passing on February 24, 2007. Connie worked as a housekeeper for Holiday Inn for many years, where she was able to utilize the strong work ethic she garnered from a young age. Connie is survived by her children: James R. (Vonda) Olson, Gary L. (Debbie) Olson, Dennis T. (Diane) Olson, Kristine S. (Rick) Bilgrien and Jeffery T. Olson; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings, James (Deb) Fiedler and Genevieve Manogue; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Olson; her parents; and siblings: John, Robert, Helen, Phyllis and Beverly. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 22, 2024 at SCHNEIDER FUNERAL HOME; with Pastor Bond Haldeman officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Committal will immediately follow the service to Milton Lawns Memorial Park.
