I so enjoyed learning from Doug when we were on Staff Council together. He was always a joy to be around and could tell great stories. I felt his care and concern for all around him. He was great fun and even encouraged me with my bad bowling when we bowled for the United Way campaign. My heart goes out to the family. Prayers and thoughts for all. We have lost another great human.

Oh my heart. Doug Milder was one of the people who made my entry to Idaho, and working at Idaho State, a joyful transition back in 2013 when I arrived from North Carolina. Honestly, Doug, you always felt like a "work uncle" to me in those years we worked together. Always picking on me....always supporting me....always encouraging me. What a gift it was to work with you. May you Rest In Peace. May your family know that you brought joy to your coworkers and may they be comforted by the Lord above during this hard time.
