Jeff Kula Obituary

Jeff Kula, 58, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics. Celebration of Life will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, June 24, at St. Stephens Catholic Church Fellowship Hall. The family encourages everyone in attendance to wear their favorite Chicago Bears apparel or the Bears colors. Jeff was born on July 29, 1964, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the son of Ken and Judy (Renfer) Kula. He was a graduate of Central City High School and went on to attend Kirkwood. Being a lover of all animals, Jeff volunteered at Cedar Valley Humane Society, he especially loved his cat Wiley. He enjoyed a wide variety of music, golfing and the Chicago Bears. Jeff had a good sense of humor and enjoyed family gatherings around the holidays. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jeff is survived and lovingly remembered by his life-long best friend and partner, Paula Patterson of Cedar Rapids; parents, Ken and Judy Kula of Central City; sisters, Lisa Kula of Cedar Rapids and Kristi (Mike) Leuenberger of Cedar Rapids; niece, Ashley; nephews, Jake and Logan; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, family members and friends.
