Just saw this while reminiscing about the year I lived in Iowa. John was a good friend for me while I was there and provided me with strong support while we both often had to stand up to our employer when we and others were not treated fairly. I have never forgotten his friendship since then, way back in 1987, and regret not calling him on subsequent visits over the years. Thanks for taking a young guy under your wing my friend and rest in peace.
