JOSEPH PAUL SPIVIE Cedar Rapids Joseph Paul Spivie, born Oct. 11, 1959, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away peacefully at his sister Robyn's home. He passed away on Jan. 1, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He will be missed by many including his partner, Michelle Bemer. Joe was preceded in death by his grandmother, Beulah Martin and grandfather Lloyd Capes; his mother, Cathy Cherry, and his father, Matthew Spivie; his brother, Eric "Thumper" Dickson; his niece, Mariah Dukes; and his son, Jeremiah Purdy. He is survived by his children, Ryan Jacque (Octavian Jacque), Paul Gilbert (Ann Deklotz), Cierra Roquette and Radaea Roquette. He is also survived by his sisters, Robyn Dickson and Clarice Cantrell; and brother, Phil Spivie. He leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and grandchildren. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Jan 8 at Lifeline Ministries, 1101 Oakland Rd. NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402.
