Mark Marven Mulbrook, 64, of Marion died on Monday, March 4, 2024, at his home. Services: 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2024, at King of Kings Lutheran Church, Cedar Rapids by Rev. Christopher Navurkis. Burial: St. Patrick Cemetery, Fairfax. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 9 to 10:15 a.m. at the church. Teahen Funeral Home and Cremation Services are handling the arrangements. Mark is survived by his wife, Diane; son, Nathan Mulbrook of Marion; daughter, Katie Mulbrook of Johnston; mother, Marilyn Mulbrook of Marion; two brothers, Mike Mulbrook of Marion and Matthew (Lois) Mulbrook of Center Point. He was preceded in death by his infant son, Benjamin, and his father, Larry. Mark was born on April 25, 1959, in Cedar Rapids the son of Larry and Marilyn Deke Mulbrook. He married Diane Malik on June 18, 1994, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Marion. Mark worked as an electrical engineer at Rockwell Collins. Mark enjoyed spending time on the lake fishing, biking, playing the trumpet, and canoeing in the Boundary Waters. He loved spending time with his family and helping others.
