Victor Morse Obituary

Victor Samuel Morse, 86, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, May 14, 2023. A Joint Public Graveside Service with his sister, Imogene Kelley, who passed away on May 10, 2023, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, May 19, at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery, Garden of the Last Supper. Survivors include his children, Joyce Morse of Cedar Rapids, Tim Morse of Cedar Rapids and Mary Morse of Howard County, Iowa; three grandchildren; and siblings, Dee Crawford of Arlington, Iowa, and Judith Gaal of Loveland, Colo. He was preceded in death by his two spouses, Lois Lee Morse and Marilyn Morse; son, Victor; daughter, Anne; and five siblings. Victor Samuel Morse was born June 17, 1936, in Illyria Township, Fayette County, Iowa, the son of Harold and Mary (Monahan) Morse. On May 3, 1955, he married Lois Lee in Arlington, Iowa. After Lois's death in 1992, he married Marilyn (Miller) Whitmore on Dec. 29, 1998. She died in 2018. Victor worked at Wilson Food's for many years until retiring.
