William D. Linderwell

WILLIAM D. LINDERWELL Guttenberg William D. Linderwell, 82, of Guttenberg, Iowa, passed away on Oct. 12, 2021, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Bill was born Sept. 23, 1939, in Dundee, Iowa. He married the love of his life, Sharon Bauman, Sept. 13, 1969. They just celebrated 52 years together. His greatest loves were his family, deer hunting, fishing, cutting wood and playing cards. He was employed at LeFebure in Cedar Rapids as a welder and he served in the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Sharon; his son, Jamie (Sherri); daughter, Shelley Tharp; grandchildren, Randy Tharp, Sally Jones, Mark Fite, Daniel Kelchen and Austin (Mel) Kelchen; and great-grandchildren, Kaylie Kelchen, Kirra and Kyler Caples. Family and friends may celebrate his life from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 24, at the American Legion, 204 Franklin Street Manchester, Iowa.
