Spottsville, Kentucky
Alice Wells, 82, of Spottsville, passed away Monday October 29, 2018 at Methodist Hospital.
She was born in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky on April 14, 1936 to the late Charles and Dolly (Edge) Smith.
Alice was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Frank Wells.
Survivors include 4 children: Janie Shelton and husband Alvie, Rocky Wells and wife Sheila, Tony Wells and wife Johnett all of Henderson County, Jason Wells and wife Kendra of Florida, 1 sister Betty Sue Majors, 1 brother Lou Smith, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11:00 AM, Friday November 2, 2018 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson. Chaplain Tim Shockley will officiate.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Thursday 4-8PM and Friday 9AM until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Brent Lacer, Richard Basham, David Sawyer, Bobby Mayes, Alvie Shelton and Mark Smith.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Redbanks Nursing Home.
