Arthur Little Obituary
Dixon, Ky.
Arthur Junior Little, 77, of Dixon, Ky., passed away at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind., on Saturday, January 7, 2017. He was a US Army Veteran, and owned/operated Junior Little Excavating for several years.
He was currently serving as a Dixon City Commissioner, and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Dixon, Ky. He was a member of the Ford Model A Club of Evansville, Ind. He was an avid Outdoorsman and active member of the Quail Unlimited. He was the son of the late Arthur Little Sr. and Ruby Rich Little.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jo Little; a sister, Betty Sue Nall; and a brother, Billy Joe Little. Survivors include his son, Travis Little of Nebo, Ky.; three grandchildren, Hunter Little, Page Denton and Ben Little; one great-grandchild, Easton Davis; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 10, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky. Rev. Hank Cayce and Rev. Curt Yarbrough will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, Ky. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday and from 8 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.
