Mark Fowler Obituary
Rock Island, IL, formerly of Kentucky
Mark Fowler, 61, passed away Sun. May 8 at his residence. He was born in Frankfort on July 14, 1954. Mark was a glass artist with a Bacherlor's degree from Brescia and a Master's of Fine Arts from University of Illinois. He is survived by his parents Bill and Mabel Fowler of Henderson, 1 brother Paul Fowler of Henderson and Nancy Brinker of Clarksville, TN. Services will be 11AM Thurs. at Tomblinson Henderson Chapel. Burial in Boxville Cemetery. Visitation Thurs. 9:30AM until service time at the funeral home. Online condolences at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com.

Mark was one of the kindest, gentlest souls and most talented artists I have ever known. I will always cherish the years we shared in college and afterward when he moved to Illinois. I miss you my friend.

Authentic. Compassionate. Kind. Loyal. The salt of the earth. Mark was an extraordinary artist, a beautiful beacon of light. It was an honor, a joy and a privilege to have him grace our lives.
The pain of Mark's passing is excruciating, the loss - - profound. I loved him. We all loved him. May God bless the memory of his mighty heart.

This is truly a sad one for me. Mark is the one who showed me there was life outside accounting, he found the artist in me that I never know existed. Meeting him was a life changing experience, it had more impact on my life than my 4 years at Augustana. He truly was a diehard artist!!!
