Mark was one of the kindest, gentlest souls and most talented artists I have ever known. I will always cherish the years we shared in college and afterward when he moved to Illinois. I miss you my friend.

Authentic. Compassionate. Kind. Loyal. The salt of the earth. Mark was an extraordinary artist, a beautiful beacon of light. It was an honor, a joy and a privilege to have him grace our lives.
The pain of Mark's passing is excruciating, the loss - - profound. I loved him. We all loved him. May God bless the memory of his mighty heart.

One of the kindest people I have ever known. "I was a stranger and he welcomed me." Attended college together. Peace for you , Mark.

This is truly a sad one for me. Mark is the one who showed me there was life outside accounting, he found the artist in me that I never know existed. Meeting him was a life changing experience, it had more impact on my life than my 4 years at Augustana. He truly was a diehard artist!!!
Rock on Marko!

Mark was a fabulous glass artist. He made a huge impact on the art community in the Quad Cities.
A kind and giving man, Mark and his talents are a loss to our community.
