Randy Majors Obituary
Henderson, KY
Randy Majors, Sr., 57 of Henderson lost his battle to cancer and went to his heavenly home Saturday, April 30, 2016 at his residence.He was born August 26, 1958 in Henderson to Sam and Phyllis (Gibbs) Majors.
He attended Beals Pentecostal Church and the Salvation Army Church. Randy was a member of Moose Lodge #732 and was a bell ringer for the Salvation Army. He was known for smoking chickens and was involved in numerous fundraisers.
He is survived by his wife, Paula Majors; parents, Sam and Phyllis Majors; 3 children, Randall Majors, Jr. of Louisville, Patricia Powell of Henderson and Samantha Majors of Marion, KY; 3 step daughters; Tori Heberer of Seymore, IN, Kayla "Shadow" Mattingly of Benton, IL and Carly Davidson of Henderson 4 sisters, Valda Carr of Berea, KY, Kay Hogan, Jo Adams both of Henderson and Kathy Du of Bellefontaine, OH, 3 brothers, Larry Majors, Ronald "Bud" Majors and Steve Majors all of Henderson,5 grandchildren,several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be 1:00 PM Thursday at Tomblinson Funeral Home Henderson Chapel. Rev. Barry Skaggs and Major Charlie Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Fernwood Cemetery.Visitation will be Wednesday 4:00 PM-8:00 PM and Thursday 10:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.Online condolences may be made at www.tomblinsonfuneralhome.com
