Madisonville, KY
Dr. Thaddeus Robert Salmon, 64, of Madisonville, KY, husband of Sally Salmon, passed away, Monday, December 31, 2018.
He was born May 30, 1954 in Madisonville. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. James L. and Ruth Reeves Salmon; and a sister, Sue Anne Salmon.
Dr. Salmon is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. For over twenty years, he served in the Emergency Department of Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He had previously worked in the emergency departments across Union, Muhlenberg, and Christian counties.
He was a member of Madisonville First United Methodist Church, where he enjoyed singing in the choir.
In addition to his loving wife of 39 years, survivors include his daughter, Ainsley (Emil) Handke of Louisville, KY; son, Dr. Thad (Felice) Salmon of Lexington, KY; five grandchildren; and his siblings, Dr. Lucy (Dr. Bill) Crain of San Francisco, CA; Mary (Al) Templeton of Washington, DC, and Dr. James L. (Eileen) Salmon of Bowling Green, KY.
A private service will be held.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church at 200 East Center Street, Madisonville, KY 42431.
