Victoria McElhaney Obituary
Henderson - Victoria "Vicki" (Gibson) McElhaney, 73 of Henderson passed away April 1, 2021 at her home.
Vicki was born in Henderson to the late Joel and Ada Lee (Gish) Gibson.
She retired from the Henderson County Health Department after 27 ½ years working as an Registered Nurse where she took great pride in being a nurse and educating.
Vicki had enjoyed going to the street rod shows with her late husband and enjoyed traveling. She was involved with Special Olympics. She always took the time to listen and entertain no matter what she had going on. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, who along with many others, affectionately called her "Moo Moo". Vicki encouraged her children and grandchildren to be creative and was always very proud of them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Charles "Charlie" McElhaney Jr., her daughter Carla Jo McElhaney, and her sister Brenda Greenwalt.
Vicki is survived by her son Ryan Lee McElhaney and his wife Andrea, her sister Anna Lee Cooper and her husband Glenn, and grandchildren: Paige, Blake, Ace and Charley. As well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday April 6, 2021 at Tomblinson Funeral Home in Henderson with Nora Hobson officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Monday and on Tuesday 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. A private burial will be in Fairmont Cemetery. Dinner to follow at Paige McElhaney's house.
