Carline:
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Barry was a very special man and the special bond between your souls was obvious.
He was such an honest, hardworking,compassionate man. His love for you was touching. From the first time that I met him he made me feel welcomed and comfortable as if he had been a dear friend for years. I can still see some of the looks on his face during dinners, the concert, on the farm, hanging around the house,and a very special time the three of us spent together. He is now at peace and we are all fortunate to have had such a dear soul touch our lives.

I know that God is good to his word, and that I will see Barry when I leave this world. I don't know why I feel so sad. I guess the problem is I just don't like the change of not being able to talk to him and watch him as he watches us make fools out of ourselves with the horses. He loved to watch you mess with those naggs. He loved it because you loved it, and he just plain adored you. It is right to miss him, and it is good to think of him. When the time is right we will move from this point in our lives to the next point. It sure has been a good ride so far.
To life

Carline,
As I said to you before, you are an amazing woman. The first time Sona and I met you there was a connection. I never had the pleasure of meeting Barry although I prayed for the two of you often. I know you will get through this.....your friends and family wouldn't have it any other way. Please always remember you are loved and thought of everyday and I truly believe God will use Barry to help you live out both of your dreams.
hugs and kisses,

Carline: Our sorrow cannot be spoken. Deep in our hearts as in yours is a great loss for Barry. He was the most wonderful friend and we thought of him as family as we do you. His passing while leaving a deep void will only make his memory a great joy. He was a man among men and as honest, straight forward and never worried what people thought of him, he was someone you couldn't help but love him and the world he created. God will welcome him with open arms and heart.

Everyone knew Barry in a special way…
Barry wore so many different “hats”:
o Barry Bronk the farmer;
o Barry Bronk specializing in sales of Wood Shavings/ Horse Bedding/ & Hay;
o Barry Bronk a 4th generation property owner;
o Barry Bronk a friend, a father, and a loving husband.
EACH OF US we will always cherish those special memories.
Barry was also very modest… he might not have told everyone about being honored last May for his 25 years of service as an elected official of the Board of Trustees for Will County’s “Plainfield Fire Protection District.”
Please know that all of Barry's family is in our thoughts and prayers!

Jennifer,
Words can't express to you how sorry we are for losing your dad. We know that the world revolved around him for you and the world revolved around you for him. It is so hard to lose a loving parent and I know first hand about that. Also the pain of cancer that took my younger brother only a few years back and now we are fighting again with my sister. It is a horrible disease! Barry was so funny and his voice was so strong and laugh was infectious! You know he will be smiling down on you. I am sure he met my brother by now and they are having a smoke and a beer! We love you Jen!

Tonight, when you look up, don't think of them as stars. Think of them as porch lights welcoming Barry safely home.
Yvette, John, and Taylor wish you peace.

I will always remember going to ride in the combine with "Uncle Barry" when I was a kid. Or the times when he would pick me up in his semi, and I would go for a ride to pick up sawdust. It was always fun to hang out with Barry. His laugh was contagious, and his heart was always warm. He will be missed.

I have had the fortunate pleasure of working with Barry for many a year. His love of life and for his family was apparent in all that he did. I oftentimes would make mention of the fact that Barry's laughter was infectious and would brighten up even the darkest of days. This unique trait will be surely missed.
May God give Carline and family the strength to be guided through this most difficult time in their lives but once time has helped heal your hearts may you always smile when you think of Barry, hear his laugh and remember how truly he did celebrate his life.

Barry Bronk touched many people in his own special way. He never picked the easy way out; he was a true Volunteer at the Fire Station. You could always find Barry washing dishes or cooking sausage surrounded by friends having a good laugh making a tedious job easy. I will miss his gruff deep voice and his enthusiasm for life. He often talked about his love for his family especially his daughters Kimberly and Jennifer. He lived a good life, and has made this world a kinder place to live.
May God Bless You All;

The Bronk home was my second home as a child. Barry was a "Dad" full of caring and laughter and always seemed to have a twinkle in his eye. I will always remember Barry with a smile! I know his laughter is now heard in heaven.

Thanks for the great farming memories - baling hay, riding in the combine and dropping off grain.
The only thing bigger than Barry's heart and deeper than his laugh was the land he loved to farm.
