Barry DePass Obituary
Barry Lloyd DePass of Elwood, Illinois, passed away on November 16th, 2021. He is survived by daughters: Wendy (Michael) Austin, Deborah DePass, his grandson Michael DePass, and his beloved longtime partner Pam Rainford. Preceded in death by his parents Lloyd and Dorothy (Karner) DePass and his siblings: Dennis, Debra and Martin DePass. "Uncle Bear" to many beloved nieces and nephews. Born in Chicago, Barry attended Lindblom Technical High School (Class of 1963) then continued into the Army. Barry retired from many years at Nalco Chemical but continued to work later at Ozinga Concrete and BNSF Railroad.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion Post 1080 in Joliet on Sunday December 5th from 1pm-4pm. Interment will be at Abraham Lincoln Memorial Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.

I'm so sorry to hear about Bear's passing. I met Bear about 10 years ago and we hung out as friends for about 2-3 years then we lost contact. Bear was a fun guy to be around, always joking and smiling. May he RIP

So very sorry to hear about Barry. I was a fellow Nalco Chemical employee and worked with Barry and Marty for many years. Barry was always a gentleman and I will remember his big smile and kind heart. Grace Fernandez
