Beatrice "Bea" Lundquist, nee Morgan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 5, 2015, in Palm Bay, Florida at the age of 98, 1 month prior to her 99th birthday.

She was born January 18, 1917, in Joliet, IL, the daughter of Raymond and Eunice Morgan. She often recalled memories of being a young girl and living on the farm in Elwood which is now the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery where Bea will be buried next to her husband John, who served as a Naval Chief Petti Officer in W.W. II. She attended Elwood Elementary School and Graduated from Joliet Township High School. Worked in Chicago at a downtown business.

She married John Lundquist of Joliet. Bea and John retired and moved from Odell in 1979 to Mountain Home, Arkansas. John passed away 1999, she later moved to Florida to enjoy her remaining years with her son and granddaughter. Bea had a great sense of humor and took great pleasure in being a housewife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed working in the yard and flower beds. She also enjoyed traveling, cheering for her son at school baseball and basketball games. She had fun hosting many after school game parties at the Odell house. Bea enjoyed along loving marriage with John, who was a Superintendent of Schools in Coal City, Wenona, Odell and Union over 30 years.

Preceded in death by her husband, John; twin brothers, Teddy and Eddie Morgan.

Surviving is one son, Jack (Karen) Lundquist; three grandchildren, Andrea of Florida, Jared and Victoria of Woodstock, VT; one sister, Alice Morgan Shoots of Mobile, AL. Numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will be held, Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
