Brian A. Nowman

48, of Wilmington, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009. Born May 3, 1961 in Joliet, Brian is a son of Alberta (nee Williams) and the late Harold Nowman, Sr. A 1979 Graduate of Wilmington HS, Brian was employed by the Painters Local #33. He was a member of the Wilmington Lions Club and the Wilmington Moose and greatly enjoyed fishing, hunting, baseball and bowling. Survivors include his wife, Christine (nee Russ); four children, Jarrod, Jason, Stefanie and Katrina; four grandchildren, Kiara, Quinton, Thomas and Hannah; his mother, Alberta of Wilmington; four brothers, Harold, Jr. of Crystal Lake, Danny (Sherry) of Lockport, Bobby of Wilmington and Tim (Robin) of Coal City; two sisters, Kathy (Jeff) DeBoard and Sandy (Mike) DeBoard, both of Wilmington; and his dog, Kobie; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Brian was preceded in death by his father. Visitation will be TODAY, Monday, May 18, 2009 from 4-8 PM, and Tuesday May 19th, from 9 AM, until time of service 10 AM, at Reeves Funeral Home in Wilmington. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery in Wilmington. Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Brian's memory to his family for distribution to charities of their choosing.
