I am so sorry to hear of Cathy's passing. My condolences to her family and loved ones. Cathy hired me at Chaney Monge and I really enjoyed working for her. She was an excellent principal and good to the students. She will be missed. I am sorry I missed the services I live out of state.

I am so sad to hear of Mrs. Davis' passing. She was my 4th grade teacher and one of my favorites. She had such a sarcastic way about her that made her cool and scary at the same time. She will definitely be missed and remembered by all who had the honor to know her and have her as a teacher. I am so sorry for her family's loss.

My condolences go out to Ms. Davis' friends and family. She taught me at Monge years ago. I was good friends with her younger sister Lisa. We graduated from Monge together. She was a strong woman. She may have let our class get away with a little more because Lisa was in it! I always respected her and I am so sad that she is no longer with us. RIP Ms. Davis. You will always be in our hearts. You will never be forgotten nor will what you taught us. You have left a lasting memory on us all. Thank you for being a great teacher and a great person! Love always, Kim ( McNamara) Jensen xoxo

Cathy
I met you about 9 years ago. You became my friend, someone who gave me advice and words of wisdom when I no longer had my Dad here to do that for me. You were such a sweet lady and I will always remember you. I was going through difficult times about 4 years back and you told me that you had a spare room for me, don't even call, just come on over. Your heart was of gold. May you rest in peace and fly with the angels my friend. To the family, I am so sorry for your loss. She truly was a one of a kind person. I am honored to have known her.

We will always remember how much fun it was to be with Kate and most important, how she adored her two grandsons. We will all miss her.

Cathy Davis was a remarkable principal to work for. She was always very kind and supportive. She always had my back. I will miss her kind smile, and infectious laugh in the halls of Chaney-Monge School.

they walk beside us every day.
Unseen, unheard,
but always near,
so loved, so missed,
so very dear."

If it were not for educators like Cathy, I may have never pursued continual education through out my life. Cathy Davis was a strong, funny, and smart leader. I have great respect for how hard she worked for the students of Chaney-Monge.
My thoughts go out to her friend and family.

Cathy was not only a friend since grade school; she also taught both my children at Chaney-Monge. She brought joy into everything she did whether it was teaching or just talking to friends. Her sense of humor and laughter were infectious! There are many legends from Chaney like James Monge and Catherine Gleason. Cathy is in their league.

Momma D was the kindest, most giving person you could ever wish to meet. She treated all of Ryan's friends like her own sons and daughters. I will cherish all the memories I have sitting around her dining room table playing board games late into the night, the BBQs, and all the laughs. I love you and will miss you terribly, rest in peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. She loved and cherished all of you!
She was always an advocate and fierce defender of children. I will miss Cathys sense of humor and inate sense of fairness. While she could be stern, she was always open to alternate choices. She encouraged and guided students and parents. I would tease her that the students she chastised the most were the ones who always returned as adults to thank her.
We have lost a fine and honorable woman.
