Charlotte M. Pfeiffer, age 96, of Joliet, IL passed away Jan. 5, 2025. She was born August 1, 1928 in Joliet to George and Dorothy French.
Charlotte married William "Bill" Pfeiffer 1968. They settled in Crest Hill where they lived and raised their son until Bill's death in 2000.
Prior to starting her family, Charlotte worked at The Spectator newspaper as Molly Zelco's assistant. Following her stint there she devoted herself to raising her son and spending quality time with family and friends. Charlotte always shared a smile and a good story with those around her. She was kind, funny and loved.
In addition to her husband, Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Donald, George and Richard French, and sisters Helen Holt, Doris French and Mildred Daugherty.
She is survived by her son, Tony Pfeiffer (Andrea), nephews Mike (Lindy) Daugherty and Steve (Deann) French as well as five great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held January 25, from 12:00 to 3pm at Ridgewood Baptist Church, 1968 Hillcrest Rd. Joliet, IL
