Died: May 9, 2023 in New Lenox, IL
Conrad Ebeling, age 80, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Lightways Hospice House in Joliet.
He is survived by his beloved wife Virginia "Ginger" Ebeling; children, John (Sherry Mohr) Ebeling, and Jody Ebeling; grandchildren, Madisyn Ebeling, and Logan Ebeling; his sister, Antonia "Toni" Ebeling; and his nephew, Keith Benning.
He is preceded in death by his parents John and Josephine Ebeling; siblings, Gloria (Late Skitch) Benning and Thomas "Erb" Ebeling; and numerous aunts and uncles and cousins.
Conrad was born in Blue Island, IL in 1942 where he was raised and attended Blue Island Community High School. In 1964, Conrad was drafted to serve in Vietnam in the United States Army. He married his sweetheart on August 26, 1967. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Over all else he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Services for Conrad will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, in New Lenox, beginning with a visitation from 2pm until 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to Turtle Mountain Animal Rescue in Conrad's name would be appreciated.
