Daniel McKeon Obituary
Daniel J. McKeon, age 26, passed unexpectedly on June 16, 2022.
Survived by his loving wife, Caitlin McKeon; parents, Jean (TJ) Fugett; siblings, Christopher Mahoney, Samantha (fiancé JT Garrity) Mahoney, Andrew Preedin, Taylor Fugett, Hailey Fugett, Jennifer Devries, Anthony Fugett, and Jessica (fiancé Maurice Motley) Fugett; grandparents, Michael (Pam) McKeon and Shirley McNatt; mother and father-in-law, John (Laura) Casson; brother in laws, Brian (Michelle) Casson, Samuel (Shannon) Casson and Kevin Casson; beloved dogs, Bella and Zoey, and two kitties, Baby Girl and Nestle. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends also survive.
Preceded in death by his father, Daniel McKeon; grandparents, Robert (Beverly) Parks; uncles, Michael McKeon, and Greg McKeon.
Danny was born in Joliet and raised in Plainfield. He attended Plainfield Central High School, class of 2014. He met the love of his life, Caitlin Casson, during his high school years and they married on September 10, 2021. Danny lived and breathed for Caitlin. His family and friends were his guiding light. He would light up any single room when he walked in and was the life of the party. Danny was the most kind and genuine person with an unforgettable goofy side to him. If you were around him, you were never going to be in a bad mood. He really was one of a kind, and every day was a complete blessing to be in his presence. Danny was obsessed with the feeling of the wind going through his hair while he was cruising in his Mustang or on his motorcycle. The sound of him revving his engines will forever be stamped in our hearts. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Visitation for Danny will be held at the Farkas Funeral Home, 3201 W. Jefferson St. Joliet, IL 60431 on Wednesday June 22, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to follow at 7:00 pm. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
