Donna C. McClintock

Donna C. McClintock (nee Chiovatero), age 86, at rest Thursday, April 6, 2017 peacefully at her late residence in Minooka with her family by her side.

Born in Joliet, the daughter of the late Joseph and Bernice (Eichbichler) Chiovatero. A lifelong Minooka resident. Donna married the love of her life, William W. McClintock, Sr. on July 17, 1954 at St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka. A lifelong homemaker, following the education of her children she worked at the Minooka Post Office for 10 years. A faithful member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Minooka. Also a member of the Prayer Chain, The Quilting Ladies of St. Mary's, and Weekly Adoration at the Poor Clares Monastery, Minooka. Donna was an avid gardener and loved spending time with her family and friends.

Survived by her loving children, Cathy (late Jerry) Glover of Minooka, Julie (Scott) Hellem of Evansville, MN, William W. (Diane) McClintock, Jr. of Braidwood, Lori (Jon) McClintock of Alexandria, MN, Roseanne (Mark) Matteson of Coal City, Patty (John) Gretz of South Wilmington, and Mark (Liza) McClintock of Clearwater, MN; 16 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one brother, William (Rita) Chiovatero of Minooka; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins including her close niece, Sharon Cassineri of Minooka; dear friends, Mary and Phil Pittman and children who were like family; and Bill and Donna's lifelong best friends, Chy and the late Art Johnson.

Preceded by her loving husband of 60 years William W. McClintock, Sr. (2014); her parents; one son, Jimmy McClintock (1968); one brother, Robert (Grace) Chiovatero; one brother-in-law, Oliver (Donna) McClintock; and sister-in-law, Wilma (Jack) Schultz.

The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Joliet Area Community Hospice, especially Julie and Carly, for all of their love and support.

Funeral Services for Donna C. McClintock will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home Chapel, 3200 Black at Essington Rds., Joliet to St. Mary Catholic Church, 303 W. St. Mary Street, Minooka where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary Cemetery, Minooka. Visitation Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Mary Catholic Church Building Fund, Poor Clares Monastery, or Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
