Dear Garrett Family, Frank & I were blest to know & love Nina & Floyd Garret! One of my happiest memories was of our camping trips to the Miner's Club; on one occasion when Frank & Floyd were cooking breakfast for us ( 6 kids for each family/ 12 kids all together) Floyd looked at Frank and said " these can't all be our kids, they must be coming from another camp site". We had good times. Sheila Kinsella

Sincere condolences to Floyd's family. I forget where or when I first met Floyd. Perhaps it was after my folks moved to Ingalls Park. Perhaps it was during 7th or 8th Grade at Washington Grade School. I'm thinking that at one time Floyd played in either the G.S. or JTHS band....maybe clarinet. I know he was a wrestler. I recall his getting into the ceramic tile trade and his service at Abraham Lincoln Cemetery. So long friend.

So sorry for your loss. We had some fine adventures going to the tile conventions together. The one in Dallas/Ft. Worth was especially fun.
Nina and my wife Renee had some good laughs. We will remember him fondly.

So sorry for your loss. Will send prayers for comfort and strength during this time for the family.
I remember your dad well, usually smiling and laughing. As memory serves me, he loved to tease people, but only with kindness.
